Murdower Hotel
Murdower Hotel is a hotel located within the third district of New Mecca. It is also the second tape in Katana Zero.
Plot Summary
Zero's psychiatrist tasks him with eliminating a high value target by the name of Josh Rose.
When he first arrives at the location, he walks up to the hotel's receptionist and initiates a brief dialogue. Depending on the player's choices, she will either calmly allow him to proceed as normal or will become infuriated and demand he go somewhere else (which also allows him to enter).
Once Zero has fought his way through the hotel, he finds a complacent Josh Rose quietly smoking a cigarette on the balcony and explaining that he understood why the assassin had come to kill him. The player may choose to extend the conversation for a bit longer, but ultimately Josh Rose will die after either the player throws something at him or he commits suicide by jumping off of the balcony.

- Tragedy can be seen reading a newspaper in the lobby.
- The letters "O" and "W" in the sign in the lobby flicker briefly, making the name "Murder Hotel".
- Strong Terry is first mentioned in this level.
- The ceiling lights can be broken in this level.
- If the player uses Sword of Masters to kill Josh Rose, the TV report afterwards will remark that Rose was "covered in strange burn marks".
