DJ Electrohead is a minor character in Katana Zero, and the target in the Club Neon mission.

Dossier

DJ ELECTROHEAD
Popular DJ from upscale 2nd district. Involved in the trafficking of club drugs. Lightly guarded but surrounded by club-goers: extreme finesse required to eliminate without detection. Pathological liar.
DO NOT SPEAK TO HIM.

Appearance

DJ Electrohead was wearing a blue sweater and a helmet with a screen and large headphones. His screen shows images that change depending on his feelings: Fear - a white cross on a red background; surprise - an exclamation mark on a green background; and joy - a yellow smiling face.

Personality

While DJ Electrohead's dossier claims he is a "pathological liar," it is likely that this is stated in an attempt to discourage Zero from interacting with him, or to discredit anything he says.  When Zero speaks to him, he appears fearful and confused, stating that "he's had this conversation before, but it's never been this real."

Mission

DJ Electrohead is a famous DJ from the Second District who was spotted in drug trafficking.

While Zero can simply choose to kill Electrohead immediately, he can also choose to question him. If questioned, Electrohead will explain that he is suffering from repeated hallucinations after taking a dose of Chronos that he bought in a storage container auction (said storage container was likely Leon's). He assumed that Chronos was simply a club drug, and that the container belonged to Zero.

Electrohead attempts to bargain for his life by offering Zero a portion of the Chronos in the container in exchange for not killing him. However, if Zero chooses to spare Electrohead, he will be abruptly shot in the head by V instead.

Talking to Electrohead unlocks new dialogue during Zero's next session with the Psychiatrist. If V killed Electrohead, this prompts him to ask Zero when he started using firearms, as well.

Notes

  • DJ Electrohead is the only target in Katana Zero who isn't directly connected to Chronos or the Cromag War.
  • Electrohead's helmet faces are generally "emoji" type images and familiar generic computer warning symbols.
  • DJ Electrohead is named as the creator of the OST "Hit the Floor (EDM)" instead of LudoWic.
  • Through a specific sequence on the game's website, you can spot an ad for DJ Electrohead, along with a phone number, in a similar fashion to paid television programming. Upon calling the number in real life, a variety of heavily distorted audio can be heard, ranging from "You have called a wrong number" to a date sometime in March.
